"The Cross Aspects of..." has been postponed due to the G20 Summit!

Exhibition "The Cross Aspects of..." in AVA Gallery has been cancelled as the gallery is closed because of the possible protests near Excel Center where the G20 Summit is held on 2nd of April, 2009. The preview was supposed to held also on 2nd of April.

The London Summit brought together world leaders from G20 countries who represent all together 85% of the world´s output, the main discussion topics being the international financial crisis and further economic cooperation. At the same time several protests and demonstrations were expected in several places in London, mainly near Excel Center. On 28th March there was a major protest rally in Hyde Park against the G20 Summit, on April 1st clashes with the police occurred during a gathering near the Royal Bank of Scotland in the City.

The exhibition is going to be held after Eastern holidays when the protest sceneries are hopefully calmed down. The gallery hasn´t called the new date yet.
