"The Night’s Heat / Awesome Noise" is the title of Tim Plamper's 5th solo exhibition presented at the Egbert Baqué Contemporary Art. Plamper’s recent drawings not only captivated the visitors of the Städtische Galerie Böblingen [Böblingen Municipal Gallery] but also made a big stir at Art Brussels earlier this year.
Cleopatra is the embodiment of female seduction, and "The Nile Song" by Pink Floyd revolves around the theme of longing and desire – it will not only be worthwhile to discover what the new drawings of the artist have to do with these two references but Tim Plamper will also draw a larger than seven meter long and higher than three meter image directly to the gallery wall. This giant drawing will only be seen during the four week exhibition.
On the occasion of the exhibition a text of the French art critic Thibaut de Ruyter will be published.
